John Mulaney

John Edmund Mulaney (born August 26, 1982) is an American stand-up comedian, actor, writer, and producer. Rising to prominence as a writer for Saturday Night Live (SNL) from 2008 to 2013, Mulaney contributed to numerous sketches and characters, including the co-creation of the popular recurring character Stefon alongside Bill Hader. He has since hosted SNL multiple times and became a member of the SNL Five Timers Club in 2022. Known for his stand-up specials such as The Top Part (2009), New in Town (2012), The Comeback Kid (2015), Kid Gorgeous (2018), and Baby J (2023), Mulaney won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Special in 2018 for Kid Gorgeous. He also released a children's musical comedy special on Netflix titled John Mulaney & the Sack Lunch Bunch (2019). Additionally, Mulaney created and starred in the semi-autobiographical Fox sitcom Mulaney (2014–2015).
