John Noble

John Noble is an Australian actor, born on 20 August 1948. He is best known for his roles in various movies and TV shows. In the Lord of the Rings film trilogy, he portrayed the character Denethor. On the science fiction series Fringe, he played the role of Dr. Walter Bishop. He also appeared as Henry Parrish on the action-horror series Sleepy Hollow and as Morland Holmes on the police procedural Elementary. Noble has lent his voice to characters in video games such as L.A. Noire, Transformers: Prime, and Batman: Arkham Knight. Before his successful acting career, Noble worked extensively in theater and served as the artistic director for the Stage Company of South Australia. He has received accolades and nominations for his work throughout his career.
