John Quade Biography
John Quade (April 1, 1938 – August 9, 2009) was an American character actor known for his work in film and television. Born in Kansas City, Kansas, Quade attended Perry Rural High School before transferring to Highland Park High School in Topeka. He played football, basketball, and track while in high school, and was a member of various clubs. After graduating, Quade attended Washburn University and worked at the Santa Fe Railway repair shop. He later found a job at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in California. Quade is best known for his role as Cholla, the leader of the motorcycle gang in the Clint Eastwood films Every Which Way but Loose (1978) and Any Which Way You Can (1980).
