John Ross Bowie (born May 30, 1971) is an American actor and comedian best known for his roles as Barry Kripke on The Big Bang Theory and Jimmy DiMeo on Speechless. With over 100 film and TV credits, Bowie has appeared in various shows including Reno 911!, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Glee, and Good Luck Charlie. He also starred in the film What the Bleep Do We Know!? alongside Marlee Matlin. Bowie is a regular performer at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater (UCBT) and was a member of the sketch troupe 'The Naked Babies.' He has written for Go Metro and collaborated with Kevin Sussman on two television comedies.
