John Rothman Biography
John Rothman is an American film, television, and stage actor. He was born on June 3, 1949, in Baltimore, Maryland. Rothman is a graduate of Wesleyan University and the Yale School of Drama. He has appeared in numerous Broadway stage productions, including Richard Nelson's Some Americans Abroad and Craig Lucas's Prelude to a Kiss. Rothman has also performed in various Off-Broadway productions, including his own one-person play The Impossible H. L. Mencken. In film, he portrayed Union General John F. Reynolds in Gettysburg (1993) and appeared in comedic movies such as Ghostbusters (1984), Big (1988), and Jingle All the Way (1996). On television, Rothman has made appearances on shows such as Guiding Light, Blue Bloods, Law & Order, and Arrested Development.
