John Shrapnel Biography
John Morley Shrapnel (27 April 1942 – 14 February 2020) was an English actor known for his stage work with the Royal Shakespeare Company and the National Theatre. He also made numerous television appearances throughout his career. One of his notable roles was Mr Skinner in the 1996 live-action film 101 Dalmatians. Shrapnel was born in Birmingham, Warwickshire (now West Midlands), and was brought up in Stockport and London. He attended Mile End School and City of London School before studying at St Catharine's College, Cambridge. He was a member of Laurence Olivier's National Theatre Company and had a successful career in both stage and screen.
