John Simmit

John Simmit is a British actor and stand-up comedian. He gained widespread recognition for his role as Dipsy in the BBC TV's global hit Teletubbies from 1997–2001. Simmit's other notable television appearances include The Real McCoy, The Gadget Show, and The Big Fat Quiz of the '90s. He has also performed as a stand-up comedian internationally, with shows in countries like Bahrain and Budapest. Additionally, Simmit is a producer and has been involved with Upfront Comedy for 25 years, bringing comedy shows to theaters across the UK. Upfront Comedy has produced major shows in London's West End, New York, and North Carolina.
