John Treacy Egan

John Treacy Egan (born July 10, 1962) is an American actor and singer. He first appeared off-Broadway in When Pigs Fly in 1996, and made his Broadway debut in Jekyll & Hyde in 1997. Egan has also appeared in the film version of Jekyll & Hyde. In 2001, he was in the Off-Broadway show Bat Boy: The Musical, and appeared as Hortensio in Kiss Me, Kate in Los Angeles. Egan starred in the musical The Producers, playing Franz Liebkind from 2002 to 2003, Roger De Bris from April to October 2003, and Max Bialystock in December 2004. He officially took over the role of Max on November 1, 2005.
