Johnathan Rice (born May 27, 1983) is a Scottish-American singer-songwriter and actor. He gained recognition for his collaborations with Jenny Lewis and his solo music career. Rice released his debut album, Trouble is Real, in 2005 followed by Further North in 2007. He has also worked as a producer for Jenny Lewis' albums and as a songwriter for other artists. In addition to his music career, Rice has appeared as a session and live musician for Elvis Costello. He achieved further success with the 2010 collaborative album I'm Having Fun Now with Jenny Lewis. Rice and Lewis also scored and wrote songs for the film Song One in 2014.
