Johnny Knoxville, born Philip John 'P.J' Clapp on March 11, 1971, is an American entertainer, producer, and writer. He gained fame as a co-creator and star of the MTV reality stunt show Jackass, which aired from 2000 to 2001. Knoxville went on to star in the Jackass film series, with installments released in 2002, 2006, 2010, and 2022. He also appeared in films like Men in Black II (2002), A Dirty Shame (2004), The Dukes of Hazzard (2005), and The Last Stand (2013). Knoxville's most notable film role was as his Jackass character Irving Zisman in Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa (2013). Jackass Forever, released in 2022, is said to be his final Jackass film.
