Jon Avery Abrahams (born October 29, 1977) is an American actor known for his roles in various films. He gained recognition for portraying Sonny Poncelet in Dead Man Walking (1995), Bobby Prinze in Scary Movie and Denny Byrnes in Meet the Parents (both 2000), and Dalton Chapman in House of Wax (2005). Abrahams was born in New York City and attended Saint Ann's School in Brooklyn. He made his film debut in Kids and has since appeared in movies such as My Boss's Daughter, Boiler Room, and House of Wax. Abrahams has also made television appearances on shows like Boston Public, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, The Mentalist, and Criminal Minds.
