Jon Bernthal

Jonathan Edward Bernthal (born September 20, 1976) is an American actor. He gained recognition for his role as Shane Walsh on the AMC horror series The Walking Dead from 2010 to 2012 and in 2018. Bernthal also portrayed Frank Castle / The Punisher in the Marvel Cinematic Universe television series Daredevil (2016) and The Punisher (2017–2019). His notable film roles include The Wolf of Wall Street (2013), Fury (2014), Sicario (2015), The Accountant (2016), Baby Driver (2017), and Ford v Ferrari (2019). Born in Washington, D.C. to a Jewish family, Bernthal is the son of Joan Lurie and Eric Lawrence Bernthal, a former lawyer.
