Jon Cryer

Jon Cryer is an American actor, writer, producer, and television director. He began his acting career in the 1980s, making his film debut in 'No Small Affair' and gaining recognition for his role in 'Pretty in Pink.' Despite early film success, Cryer struggled to find lasting success on television until he was cast as Alan Harper in the hit sitcom 'Two and a Half Men' in 2003. He won two Primetime Emmy Awards for his performance on the show. Cryer has also written, produced, and directed various projects, including the independent film 'Went to Coney Island on a Mission from God... Be Back by Five.' He received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2011.
