Jon Jon Briones Biography
Jon Jon Briones, born August 7, 1965, is a Filipino-American actor best known for his work in musical theatre. Born in Quezon City, Philippines, Briones became involved with the original 1989 London production of Miss Saigon while studying engineering. He auditioned and became a member of the ensemble, later playing various roles in touring productions of the show. In 2014, Briones joined the original cast of the Miss Saigon West End revival, portraying the Engineer. His performance earned him a nomination for the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actor. Briones became a United States citizen in 2010.
