Jon Lovett is an American podcaster, comedian, and former speechwriter. Born on August 17, 1982, he is known as a co-founder of Crooked Media, alongside Jon Favreau and Tommy Vietor. Lovett regularly hosts the Crooked Media podcasts Pod Save America and Lovett or Leave It. During his career as a speechwriter, he worked for President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. Lovett also has television credits, co-creating the NBC sitcom 1600 Penn and working as a writer and producer on the third season of HBO's The Newsroom. Born in Woodbury, Long Island to a Reform Jewish family, Lovett graduated from Williams College in 2004 with a degree in mathematics.
