Jon Seda Biography
Jon Seda is an American actor known for his roles in movies and TV shows. Born in Manhattan to parents of Puerto Rican descent, Seda was raised in Clifton, New Jersey. After graduating from Clifton High School, he pursued a career in boxing, gaining recognition as an amateur boxer with a record of 21 wins and one loss. Seda made his film debut in the 1992 boxing film Gladiator, playing the role of Romano, a Cuban boxer. He later starred alongside Jennifer Lopez in the movie Selena as Chris Pérez and portrayed U.S. Marine John Basilone in The Pacific, a miniseries produced by Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg. On television, Seda is known for his roles as Detective Antonio Dawson in NBC's Chicago P.D. and as Paul Falsone in NBC's Homicide: Life on the Street.
