Jonathan Brandis Biography
Jonathan Gregory Brandis (April 13, 1976 – November 12, 2003) was an American actor known for his roles in television and film. He started his career as a child model and later transitioned into acting. Brandis made his acting debut in 1982 on the soap opera One Life to Live as Kevin Buchanan. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Bill Denbrough in the television miniseries It in 1990 and as Bastian Bux in The NeverEnding Story II: The Next Chapter. At the age of 17, Brandis was cast as Lucas Wolenczak on the NBC series seaQuest DSV, a role that garnered him a significant teenage following. Tragically, Brandis died by suicide in 2003.
