Jonathan Firth Biography
Jonathan Stephen Firth is an English actor, born on April 6, 1967, in Brentwood, Essex, England. He is known for his roles in popular British television productions like Middlemarch, Far from the Madding Crowd, and Victoria & Albert. Firth comes from a family with a background in education and Christianity. His parents were Methodist missionaries in India and later worked as teachers in Nigeria. He is the younger brother of actor Colin Firth and voice coach Kate Firth. Firth spent part of his childhood in St. Louis, Missouri, USA, before settling in Winchester, Hampshire, England. He studied at the Central School of Speech and Drama and Peter Symonds College.
