Jonathan Goldsmith Biography
Jonathan Goldsmith, born on September 26, 1938, is an American character actor. He started his career on the New York stage before transitioning to film and television. From the 1960s to the 1990s, Goldsmith appeared in several TV shows, making over 350 television appearances throughout his career. He is most well-known for his portrayal of The Most Interesting Man in the World in television commercials for Dos Equis beer, a role he played from 2006 to 2016. Born in the Bronx to Jewish parents, Goldsmith graduated from Boston University in 1958 and moved to California in 1966 to further his acting career. Alongside his acting pursuits, Goldsmith also worked various jobs to support himself.
