Jonathan Elihu Silverman is an American actor, born on August 5, 1966, in Los Angeles, California. He is best known for his roles in the comedy films Brighton Beach Memoirs, Weekend at Bernie's, and its sequel Weekend at Bernie's II. Silverman comes from a Jewish family, with his father being a rabbi and his mother from Jerusalem. He graduated from Beverly Hills High School in 1984 and is friends with David Schwimmer. In addition to his notable film roles, Silverman has also appeared in Girls Just Want to Have Fun (1985), Caddyshack II (1988), Little Sister (1992), and Little Big League (1994). He has also acted in the film Jam (2006) and played the role of Eddie in Beethoven's Big Break.
