Jonathan Taylor Thomas

Jonathan Taylor Thomas (né Weiss; born September 8, 1981) is an American actor and director best known for his role as Randy Taylor on the television show Home Improvement. He also provided the voice for young Simba in Disney's 1994 animated film The Lion King and portrayed Pinocchio in The Adventures of Pinocchio. Born in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Thomas later moved to Sacramento, California, and then Los Angeles. He has Pennsylvania Dutch and Portuguese ancestry. Thomas graduated with honors from Chaminade College Preparatory School in West Hills, California, in 2000, and went on to study philosophy and history at Harvard University and the University of St Andrews in Scotland. He later graduated from Columbia University School of General Studies in 2010.
