Jonathan Winters Biography
Jonathan Harshman Winters III (November 11, 1925 – April 11, 2013) was an American comedian, actor, author, television host, and artist. He started his career as a stand-up comedian and later transitioned into acting in films and television. Winters received recognition for his work, earning two Grammy Awards and a Primetime Emmy Award. In 1960, he was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and in 1999, he received the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor. Winters recorded numerous comedy albums over the span of his career, including the critically acclaimed 'The Wonderful World of Jonathan Winters' in 1960. He was a beloved figure in the entertainment industry.
