Jonathan Harshman Winters III (November 11, 1925 – April 11, 2013) was an American comedian, actor, author, television host, and artist. He started his career as a stand-up comedian and later transitioned into acting in films and television. Winters received recognition for his work, earning two Grammy Awards and a Primetime Emmy Award. In 1960, he was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and in 1999, he received the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor.
