Jonathan Coyne, known professionally as Jonny Coyne, is an English actor born on January 1, 1953. He gained recognition for his role as Warden Edwin James on Fox's series, Alcatraz (2012). Coyne has also appeared as Dr. Lydgate in Once Upon a Time in Wonderland and Once Upon a Time, as well as George de Mohrenschildt in 11.22.63. He began his acting career with school plays, receiving positive reviews which led him to pursue acting. After graduating from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, he won the Hannam Clarke Award. Coyne's notable TV appearances include London's Burning, Gulliver's Travels, EastEnders, Pulling, and The Bill. He also appeared in the film Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2003).
