Jordin Sparks (born December 22, 1989) is an American singer and actress. She gained fame by winning the sixth season of American Idol at the age of 17, becoming the series' youngest winner. Her self-titled debut album, released in 2007, achieved platinum certification and sold over two million copies worldwide. The album featured hit singles like 'Tattoo' and 'No Air,' a duet with Chris Brown, which became the third highest-selling single by any American Idol contestant. Sparks received her first Grammy Award nomination for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals for 'No Air.' Her second studio album, Battlefield (2009), debuted at number 7 on the Billboard 200 chart.
