Jorge Alberto Poza Pérez, born on January 3, 1978, is a Mexican film and television actor. He began his acting career in the film Bandidos in 1990 and made his television debut in the telenovela El abuelo y yo in 1992. Poza has appeared in various projects with varying degrees of success. In 2001, he starred in the short-lived telenovela Atrévete a olvidarme, followed by a role in the popular novela El Manantial in 2001. He achieved his first leading role in the acclaimed novela Clase 406 in 2002. In 2003, he took on the challenge of playing twins Rafael and Ernesto in Velo de novia. Poza has also worked in theatre, appearing in the play P.D. tu g.
