Jose Llana

Jose Llana (born 5 May 1976) is a Filipino-American singer and actor, known for his roles on Broadway. Born in Manila, Philippines, Llana grew up in Springfield, Virginia. He made his Broadway debut in the 1996 Revival of Rodgers and Hammerstein's The King and I as Lun Tha. Llana went on to star in various Broadway productions such as Rent, Streetcorner Symphony, Flower Drum Song, and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, earning a 2005 Drama Desk Award for Best Ensemble Performance. He has also appeared Off-Broadway in productions like On the Town and Saturn Returns. Llana studied classical voice at the Manhattan School of Music after graduating from Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology.
