Joseph Culp Biography
Joseph Culp is an American actor and director, born on January 9, 1963. He is the son of actor Robert Culp and Nancy Ashe. Culp received his acting training at HB Studio in New York City. He appeared in a recurring role as Archie Whitman in the AMC series Mad Men, portraying the depression-era father of Jon Hamm's character Don Draper. Culp also played Doctor Doom in the unreleased film The Fantastic Four, making him the first actor to portray the character. Additionally, he narrated the film September 11-The New Pearl Harbor and featured in the video game L.A. Noire as Walter Robbins. Culp is also known for co-founding the Walking-In-Your-Shoes technique and the Walking Theatre Group in Los Angeles.
