Joseph Mawle

Joseph Mawle, born on March 21, 1974, is an English actor best known for his performances in various movies and TV shows. Mawle gained popularity for his role as Benjen Stark in the widely acclaimed series, Game of Thrones. He also portrayed Detective Inspector Jedediah Shine in Ripper Street, Firebrace in Birdsong, Jesus Christ in The Passion, Adar in The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, and Odysseus in Troy: Fall of a City. Mawle was born and raised in Oxford, England, and comes from a farming background, with nine generations of farming history in his family. Despite facing challenges with severe dyslexia and hearing impairment, Mawle pursued a career in acting.
