Josh Cowdery (born December 23, 1978) is an American actor known for his roles in film and television. He gained recognition for his appearances in various popular projects, including Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016) and the television series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2013) and Legends (2014). Cowdery was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, and attended Sylvan Hills High School in Sherwood, Arkansas, where he formed an improv group with Wes Bentley, Patrick Cowdery, and Damien Bunting called B(3) + C. He holds a degree in Marketing Management from the University of Arkansas, with minors in Acting and Psychology. In 2012, he had a cameo appearance in The Avengers, which led to his character crossing over into Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. in 2013. In 2016, Cowdery portrayed Henry Shaw Jr. in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
