Josh Lawson Biography
Joshua Lawson (born 22 July 1981) is an Australian actor and filmmaker. He is best known for his role as Doug Gugghenheim in House of Lies and Tate in Superstore. Lawson also portrayed the character Kano in the 2021 film Mortal Kombat. He was born and raised in Brisbane and attended St Joseph's College, Gregory Terrace. Lawson graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Art in 2001 and further honed his skills by studying improvisation techniques in Los Angeles. He has had guest-starring roles in popular Australian television programs such as Blue Heelers, Home & Away, Thank God You're Here, Sea Patrol, and The Librarians. Lawson has also appeared in commercials for brands like Coca-Cola Cherry.
