Joshua Thomas Radnor (born July 29, 1974) is an American actor, filmmaker, author, and musician. He gained popularity for his role as Ted Mosby in the CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother. Radnor made his directorial debut with the 2010 film Happythankyoumoreplease, winning the Sundance Film Festival Audience Award and receiving a Grand Jury Prize nomination. He also wrote, directed, and starred in the 2012 film Liberal Arts. Radnor portrayed Isaac in the Broadway play Disgraced, which was nominated for a Tony Award. He has appeared as Dr. Jedediah Foster in Mercy Street and Lou Mazzuchelli in Rise, as well as Lonny Flash in Hunters.
