Josie Davis

Josie Rebecca Davis, born on January 16, 1973 in California, is an American actress, screenwriter, and producer. Davis started her acting career at the young age of three and gained recognition for her role as Sarah Powell in the television sitcom Charles in Charge from 1987 to 1990. Playing the quiet and bookish character of Sarah, Davis found it challenging to break away from this image after the show ended. She studied acting with Paul E. Richards, a prominent figure associated with Lee Strasberg's Actors Studio. At 24, Davis auditioned and became a member of the Actors Studio, selected by judges Martin Landau, Mark Rydell, and Shelley Winters.
