Joss Stone, born Joscelyn Eve Stoker on April 11, 1987, is an English singer, songwriter, and actress. She gained fame with her debut album, The Soul Sessions, in 2003, which earned her a spot on the 2004 Mercury Prize shortlist. Her second album, Mind Body & Soul, topped the UK Albums Chart and featured the hit single 'You Had Me'. Stone received Grammy nominations for both the album and single, as well as a nomination for Best New Artist. With her third album, Introducing Joss Stone, released in 2007, she achieved gold record status in the US. Known for her soulful voice, Stone is recognized as one of the youngest British female artists to reach the top of the UK Albums Chart.
