Jovan Adepo Biography
Jovan Adepo is an English-American actor, born on September 6, 1988, in Upper Heyford, Oxfordshire. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Cory Maxson in the film adaptation of Fences (2016). Adepo has starred in various film and television projects, including Overlord (2018), All in the Family/The Jeffersons special, and Watchmen (2019) as Hooded Justice, which earned him a nomination for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or Movie. He has also appeared in series such as When They See Us, Jack Ryan, and The Leftovers. Additionally, Adepo played Larry Underwood in the Paramount+ miniseries adaptation of Stephen King's The Stand. His mixed heritage includes a British Nigerian mother and an African American father.
