Jowee Omicil

Jowee Omicil, born Joseph Omicil, Jr., is a Haitian-Canadian jazz musician. He has collaborated with renowned artists such as Randy Kerber, Ibrahim Maalouf, Tony Allen, Jacob Desvarieux, Roy Hargrove, Michel Martelly, Glen Ballard, and Francisco Mela. Born in Montreal, Omicil divides his time between Miami and Paris. At the age of 15, he was enrolled in music school by his father and began learning the alto saxophone. He later earned a scholarship to Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he studied Music Education. Omicil is known for his captivating performances and contributions to the jazz music scene.
