Jowharah Jones

Jowharah Jones is an American actress and singer, born in 1982. She gained recognition for her role as Nico Slater, Vanessa Williams' character's daughter, in the first season of the television series Ugly Betty. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Jones grew up in Hershey and attended Milton Hershey School, graduating with honors in 1999. She then pursued a mathematics major at Xavier University of Louisiana in New Orleans before moving to New York City to pursue acting. Jones trained at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University and graduated in 2004. She later relocated to Los Angeles, where she currently resides.
