Juan Archuleta

Juan Archuleta (born September 13, 1987) is an American mixed martial artist. He competes in the bantamweight divisions of Bellator MMA and Rizin Fighting Federation, where he currently holds the Rizin Bantamweight Championship. With a professional MMA career starting in 2013, Archuleta has fought for King of the Cage, the World Series of Fighting, and Bellator MMA, where he became the former Bellator Bantamweight World Champion. As of July 26, 2022, he holds the #3 ranking in the Bellator Bantamweight Rankings. Born in Hesperia, California, Archuleta comes from a Spanish and Mexican descent. He has a background in amateur wrestling, achieving state championship qualifications in high school and becoming a junior college All-American at Sacramento City College. Archuleta later wrestled at the NCAA Division I level while attending Purdue University. In January 2021, he earned a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu from his instructor Phil.
