Judd Nelson Biography
Judd Asher Nelson is an American actor born on November 28, 1959, in Portland, Maine. He gained recognition for his performances in several movies and television shows. Nelson is best known for his roles as John Bender in the iconic film The Breakfast Club, Alec Newbury in St. Elmo's Fire, and Nick Peretti in New Jack City. He has also appeared in other notable projects such as Cybermutt, Billionaire Boys Club, Empire, and the television series Suddenly Susan where he played the character Jack Richmond. Nelson comes from a Conservative Jewish background and grew up in a family involved in music and politics. He attended St. Paul's School and Waynflete School before studying at Haverford College in Pennsylvania.
