Judd Winick (born February 12, 1970) is an American cartoonist, comic book writer, and screenwriter, known for his work in both the television and comic book industries. He gained recognition for his appearance on MTV's The Real World: San Francisco in 1994. Winick later achieved success as a comic book creator with his autobiographical graphic novel Pedro and Me, chronicling his friendship with Pedro Zamora, an AIDS educator from The Real World. In the world of comics, he wrote acclaimed runs on DC Comics' Green Lantern and Green Arrow series. Winick also created The Life and Times of Juniper Lee, an animated TV series that aired on Cartoon Network for three seasons. He is notable for his work on the Batman storyline 'Under the Hood' and the prequel mini-series Red Hood: The Lost Days.
