Edward Ernest Reinhold Jr., better known as Judge Reinhold, is an American actor born on May 21, 1957. He gained fame for his work in Hollywood films during the 1980s. Reinhold's notable film credits include Stripes (1981), Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982), Gremlins (1984), and Ruthless People (1986). He is recognized for his roles in the Beverly Hills Cop (1984, 1987, and 1994) and The Santa Clause (1994, 2002, and 2006) franchises. Reinhold was born in Wilmington, Delaware, and raised in Fredericksburg, Virginia. He attended Mary Washington College and Palm Beach Community College. His maternal grandfather hailed from County Meath, Ireland.
