Judith Light

Judith Ellen Light is an American actress known for her diverse roles in television and stage. She made her professional stage debut in 1970 and later achieved success on Broadway in the revival of A Doll's House. Light rose to prominence with her portrayal of Karen Wolek in the ABC soap opera One Life to Live, earning two consecutive Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actress. She further gained recognition as Angela Bower in the popular sitcom Who's the Boss? Light has also appeared in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Ugly Betty, and Dallas. She continues to impress audiences with her exceptional talent, most notably as Shelly Pfefferman in the critically acclaimed series Transparent.
