Judith McConnell

Judith McConnell is an American actress, born on April 6, 1944, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is best known for her role as Sophia Wayne Capwell on the TV series Santa Barbara, which she appeared on from 1984 to 1993. McConnell started her acting career with appearances in shows like Judd, for the Defense (1967) and Star Trek episode 'Wolf in the Fold' (1967). She has also appeared in episodes of Get Smart, The Beverly Hillbillies, Green Acres, Dragnet, and Mannix. McConnell attended Carnegie Mellon University and was crowned Miss Pennsylvania in 1965, competing in the Miss America pageant the following year.
