Julia Butters is an American child actress born on April 15, 2009, in Los Angeles, California. She gained recognition for her role as Trudi Fraser in Quentin Tarantino's film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019), earning her a nomination for the Critics' Choice Movie Award for Best Young Actor/Actress. Butters also appeared as Reggie Fabelman in The Fabelmans (2022). Coming from a family with a Disney animator father, Butters started her career doing commercials and landed her first speaking role as Gabby on Criminal Minds. She then portrayed Ella in the Amazon Prime Video series Transparent and became known for her role as Anna-Kat Otto in the ABC sitcom American Housewife.
