Julia Pott Biography
Julia Pott (born 13 June 1985) is a British animator, illustrator, screenwriter, producer, and voice actress. She is best known as the creator of Cartoon Network's Summer Camp Island and for her voice work as Susie McCallister on the show. Pott grew up spending summers in The Hamptons and developed a passion for cartooning and Disney from an early age. She studied Animation and Illustration at Kingston University, where her short animation My First Crush gained popularity on YouTube. Pott has also created animated visuals for musical groups such as The Decemberists and Bat for Lashes. She later enrolled in an MA in animation from the Royal College of Art and directed the animated shorts Howard (2010) and Belly (2011).
