    Julian Barratt Pettifer (born May 4, 1968) is an English comedian, actor, and musician. Known for his surreal humor and black comedy, Barratt gained popularity as part of The Mighty Boosh comedy troupe alongside Noel Fielding. He was born in Leeds, West Yorkshire, and educated at the University of Reading. Barratt and Fielding produced a 2001 radio series, The Boosh, followed by a television series, The Mighty Boosh, which ran from 2004 to 2007. The show gained a cult fan following and received numerous awards. Barratt has also appeared in Unnatural Acts, Nathan Barley, Garth Marenghi's Darkplace, and co-wrote and starred in the 2017 film Mindhorn. He has also starred in the Channel 4 sitcom Flowers.
