Julian Lewis Jones (born 21 August 1968) is a Welsh actor known for his work in Invictus and the Justice League. Originally from Anglesey, he currently resides in Nantgaredig. Jones is a fluent Welsh speaker and has appeared in various productions on the Welsh-language channel S4C, including as a presenter on the popular fishing programme Sgota. He has also made notable TV appearances such as Mr. Roper in The Tudors and as Russian spy Viktor Barenshik in Spooks. In addition, Jones has portrayed Atlan, King of Atlantis, in the superhero films Justice League and Zack Snyder's Justice League. He is a supporter of Welsh independence and joined YesCymru in June 2020.
