Julian Richings Biography
Julian Richings (born 30 August 1956) is a British-Canadian character actor known for his extensive work in over 225 films and television series. After touring the United States with a British stage production, Richings settled in Toronto, Canada in 1984. He gained recognition for his role in the second season of the TV series War of the Worlds. His notable film appearances include Hard Core Logo (1996), Cube (1997), and Thrill Seekers (1999). Richings received a Genie Award nomination for his supporting role in The Claim (2000). He was a member of the repertory cast of A Nero Wolfe Mystery (2001–02) and portrayed Death in the CW's Supernatural series. Additionally, he appeared as Death in the short film Dave v. Death (2011).
