Julianna Margulies

Julianna Margulies is an American actress, born on June 8, 1966. She gained recognition for her role as Carol Hathaway in the NBC medical drama series ER, which ran from 1994 to 2009. Margulies won a Primetime Emmy Award for her performance on the show. In 2009, she took on the lead role of Alicia Florrick in the CBS legal drama series The Good Wife, for which she received critical acclaim and won two Primetime Emmy Awards, a Golden Globe Award, and a Television Critics Association Award.
