    Julie Craig is an American actress and singer. She was born in Erie, Pennsylvania and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the New York University Tisch School of the Arts. Craig started her career on the New York stage, appearing in productions such as The Fantasticks, The Apple Tree, and Bye Bye Birdie. She also performed with the New York Gilbert and Sullivan Players in The Pirates of Penzance. Craig originated the role of Tanya in The Black Monk, a musical based on Chekov's story. She played Maria in the international tour of West Side Story, directed by Joey McKneely. Regionally, her notable credits include Les Misérables as Cosette.
