Julie Hayek

Julie Hayek is an American actress, model, charity worker, and beauty queen. She was born on October 4, 1960. Hayek won the Miss USA title in 1983, representing California. She is of Czech, German, Norwegian, Scottish, Irish, and English descent. Hayek's father was an airline pilot, and her mother was a high school guidance counselor. She graduated from UCLA with a bachelor's degree in biology and a minor in psychology. Hayek was discovered while cheerleading at UCLA and was featured in an NBC Nightly News story. She has appeared in movies and TV shows, and was prominently featured in a Sports Illustrated article about the UCLA cheerleading squad.
